Level 2. Professional
— Develop and add skills to your existing profession
This page will be filled in with more
specific detail soon, but here is a general idea of the Professional
Development Level.
This is the entry level if you are
already a teacher, a practitioner, or a performer and wish to
develop your professional skills by clarifying your understanding
and adding new ways to develop your work, or help your pupils
or clients.
The content of this level is partially
driven by the issues and questions you bring up and partially
by the what arises from the practical application of the work
to your profession.
New Professional Level groups
are now opening
New Professional Level groups are now
opening in the online distance learning module, LearningMethods
Online (see more details),
and there are still spaces available. Each group will be be
no more than 5 people.
Since it is helpful if group members
share a degree of common experience and knowledge, there will
likely be several groups — for instance, one for teachers of
the Alexander Technique, and one for performers/performance
teachers, and other professional areas as they apply.
If you are interested in joining, contact
David at
or by using the phone number or postal address below.
The Professional Level of the Online
Learning module uses regular live video conferences, along with
extensive use of podcasts which go deeper into relevant topics,
and recordings of in-depth workshops and webinars to give you
step-by-step learning and a solid basis in the tools and approaches
of the work.
There will be an emphasis on applying
the work to your teaching or your practice.
